Wounded Hearts Healed

Many times we hold onto wounds and hurts from the past. These things define and become the eye glasses through which we view the world. Unless our hearts heal, we expect more of the same. Jesus the Christ, came to heal the broken-hearted and to bind up their wounds. When we open the closed frozen places of our hearts, to the love of God, forgive and let it go, our hearts get healed. We receive healing and change our expectations. The love and light of God thaws and transforms our hearts.

The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is upon me, for the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to comfort the brokenhearted and to proclaim that captives will be released and prisoners will be freed. (Isaiah 61:1 and Luke 4:18 NLT)

Anxious And Worried? Pray!

Worried and anxious? Take your concerns and requests to God in prayer, with thankfulness. Remember, prayer is a two-way conversation, with your Heavenly Daddy, who loves you. Wait and listen to what he has to say to you. He will give you his peace, a tranquil mind-the mind of Christ and his love will flood you, so there is no place for fear.

Turn off the negative news and instead think on God’s love for you and read his love letter to you, the Bible. When you choose to exchange the negative and anxious thoughts for how much God loves you, the world will no longer cause you worry and anxious thoughts. Leave your cares with him and see how he gives you peace and answers your requests.

Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true, and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Keep putting into practice all you learned and received from me—everything you heard from me and saw me doing. Then the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:6-9 NLT)

Yahweh God Is With You!

Yahweh God (your covenant keeping God of your present) goes with you and is with you today. He will not fail you, or forsake you. No need to fear, become depressed or dismayed because God is your strength. You are not alone and he will never abandon or fail you!

Do not be afraid or discouraged, for the Lord will personally go ahead of you. He will be with you; he will neither fail you nor abandon you. (Deuteronomy 31:8 NLT)

God’s Provision Is Bigger Than The Problems

When you know that God loves and accepts you, it is easy to have faith in him. Knowing your identity as God’s child and that he made you in his image, helps you to live an overcoming life. Nothing is too difficult because God fights for you. The bigger the problem, the bigger his provision, so you can rejoice no matter what comes at you.

When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High,
our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm.
How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us?
God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go,
defending you from all harm.
If you walk into a trap, they’ll be there for you
and keep you from stumbling.
You’ll even walk unharmed among the fiercest powers of darkness,
trampling every one of them beneath your feet! (Psalm 91:9-13 TPT)

Anxious And Fearful? Trust God!

Does fear and unbelief rule how you live your life? Many times we talk one way, living in fear, instead of trust in God. Although we might know in our heads God loves us, we live the opposite. Fear paralyzes  us and keeps us from fulfilling the dreams God has placed in our hearts. Fear robs us of our dreams and leaves us in doubt and unbelief of God’s promises and his loving relationship to us. He promised that we would never lack. He owns everything and is our Provider for all we need in our relationships, health, life, resources, food, housing and the future.

God is doing something new in you and delivering you from fear, anxiety, doubt and unbelief. Nothing is impossible, when you place your trust in God. Embrace God, your future, knowing God is with you and you are victorious! Move by faith and joy.

For God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.
(2 Timothy 1:7 NLT)

This is my command—be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go. (Joshua 1:9 NLT)

Storms? Trust The Lord God!

Have the storms and earthquakes in your life, caused all the familiar obstacles, mountains and landmarks, to disappear? Did the things you used for direction, vanish? Fear not! There is One on whom you can always depend, The Lord God, whose covenant of blessing and faithful love, remains. Make him the main focus in your life and see your world stabilize, while everything else shifts and changes in your life. He brings wholeness out of the chaos and lights the darkness. Trust in the Lord, his mercy and love will never fail you.

For the mountains may move
and the hills disappear,
but even then my faithful love for you will remain.
My covenant of blessing will never be broken,
says the Lord, who has mercy on you. (Isaiah 54:10 NLT)

Who Is Like Our God?

Light in the Darkness
Problem Solver
Loving Daddy God
My Defender

Faithful
Forgives Our Sins
Keeps Promises
Life Giver

Provider
Miracle Worker
Covenant Keeper
Grace Giver

Great Physician
Deliverer
Savior and Redeemer
Restorer

Rejuvenator
Replenisher
Refuge
Reconciler

Loves unconditionally
Merciful
Loving-kindness
Peace

And realize what this really means—
we have the privilege of worshiping the Lord our God.
For he is our Creator and we belong to him.
We are the people of his pleasure.
You can pass through his open gates with the password of praise.
Come right into his presence with thanksgiving.
Come bring your thank offering to him
and affectionately bless his beautiful name!
For the Lord is always good and ready to receive you.
He’s so loving that it will amaze you—
so kind that it will astound you!
And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all.
Everyone knows our God can be trusted,

Attitude Determines Our Altitude

Our attitude determines if we have abundant life or merely exist. When we keep our eyes focused on God, his love for us, his faithfulness, and his tender care and provision for us, we will have joy that bubbles out of us and heals. Laughing and enjoying the simple things brings health. Also, reading and meditating on God’s promises to us in the Bible, makes us cheerful. In contrast, when we think on the negative, the things that have gone wrong, our hurts, focus on the problems, and embrace hopelessness, our bones dry out, then we deal with sickness and depression.

Will you choose to have another thought, change your focus to the Problem Solver and think on how much God loves you?

A joyful, cheerful heart brings healing to both body and soul.
But the one whose heart is crushed
struggles with sickness and depression. (Proverbs 17:22 TPT)

When we praise the Lord, our focus is on his glory. It puts our problems in proper perspective. His love and care for us is beyond comprehension. He is worthy of all our praise. Join us and praise the Lord today!

Hallelujah! Praise the Lord!
Go ahead, praise the Lord, all you loving servants of God!
Keep it up! Praise him some more!
For the glorious name of the Lord is blessed forever and ever.
From sunrise brilliance to sunset beauty,
