Exhausted, Tired, Defeated? Need New Strength?

by Hazel Straub

Feel exhausted, tired, and defeated? Do you want to quit? Even those in the prime of their life, tire, get exhausted and stumble and fall down. What is the solution?

Our God, the Creator of us, and the whole universe, never tires or sleeps. He loves you, is for you and never changes. The tired, exhausted, weak and powerless, who fix their gaze, on the Lord God, in confident faith and trust, get new power and strength. Spending time, in the presence of God, recharges and changes us.

We will spread our wings, catch the updraft of Holy Spirit wind, and take flight like an eagle. We will soar and have a new attitude, due to the new altitude and fresh vision. We will run and not tire or grow faint because of God’s presence, infusing us. Put your hope and trust in God!

Haven’t you known, haven’t you heard
that the everlasting God, Adonai,
the Creator of the ends of the earth,
does not grow tired or weary?
His understanding cannot be fathomed.
He invigorates the exhausted,
he gives strength to the powerless.
Young men may grow tired and weary,
even the fittest may stumble and fall;
but those who hope in Adonai will renew their strength,
they will soar aloft as with eagles’ wings;
when they are running they won’t grow weary,
when they are walking they won’t get tired. (Isaiah 40:28-31 CJB)

Refuse To Gossip

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Refuse to be a talebearer.

Thou shalt not go up and down as a talebearer among thy people: neither shalt thou stand against the blood of thy neighbour: I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:16 KJV)

A gadabout gossip can’t be trusted with a secret, but someone of integrity won’t violate a confidence. (Proverbs 11:13 MSG)

A talebearer revealeth secrets: but he that is of a faithful spirit concealeth the matter. (Proverbs 11:13 KJV)

Fools are undone by their big mouths; their souls are crushed by their words. Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you really want junk like that in your belly? (Proverbs 18:7-8 MSG)

He that goeth about as a talebearer revealeth secrets: therefore meddle not with him that flattereth with his lips. (Proverbs 20:19 KJV)

Gossips can’t keep secrets, so never confide in blabbermouths. (Proverbs 20:19 MSG)

Where no wood is, there the fire goeth out: so where there is no talebearer, the strife ceaseth. As coals are to burning coals, and wood to fire; so is a contentious man to kindle strife. The words of a talebearer are as wounds, and they go down into the innermost parts of the belly. Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross. He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart. Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation. Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him. A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin. (Proverbs 26:20-28 KJV)

When you run out of wood, the fire goes out; when the gossip ends, the quarrel dies down. A quarrelsome person in a dispute is like kerosene thrown on a fire. Listening to gossip is like eating cheap candy; do you want junk like that in your belly? Smooth talk from an evil heart is like glaze on cracked pottery. Your enemy shakes hands and greets you like an old friend, all the while conniving against you. When he speaks warmly to you, don’t believe him for a minute; he’s just waiting for the chance to rip you off. No matter how cunningly he conceals his malice, eventually his evil will be exposed in public. Malice backfires; spite boomerangs. Liars hate their victims; flatterers sabotage trust. (Proverbs 26:20-28 MSG)

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. And grieve not the Holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Think On God’s Goodness

by Hazel Straub

I will meditate also of all your work, and talk of your doings. (Psalm 77:12 KJV)

God does mighty wonderful acts for us every day. He protects us from harm, provides for our needs, gives us family, friends and fellow believers. He shows mercy to us and does not treat us as we deserve but redeems us. He loves us and directs our lives. He talks to us and nurtures us,

He gives us so much more than we give him. Think about how he brings savor and flavor to our lives. Talk about his deeds to others. God is so loving and kind to us!

God’s Wonderful Love!

by Hazel Straub

The Love Of God . . .

Surpasses all of men’s conditional love
Comes into the deep crevices of the heart
Knows no boundaries and has no limitations
Gives, forgives, pardons and holds no grudges

Changes hard, stony, calloused and crusty hearts
Softens and makes supple hardened hearts and lives
Purifies, heals, delivers, resurrects and does miracles
Makes enemies live in peace with each other, merciful

Brings new life, light, laughter, lavish, loyal, love
Rejuvenates, renovates, revives, and refreshes
Caring, compassionate, without other’s merit
Good, not evil, rejoices in truth, without quitting

Trusts God and his goodness always, not the circumstances
Looks for the best and doesn’t keep score of others’ sins
Doesn’t have a swollen head or strut its stuff but is humble
God’s love lets go of the past and embraces God and his love . . .

Keep Your Eye On God’s Glory

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Stop focusing on the problems and start focusing on the results. Don’t get lost in the details, just be lost in doing the work. We have tendency of becoming consumed, with whatever we focus on. Let’s focus on God’s glory.

Signed,

A Glory Consumer

Get More Salt In Your Life!

Pink Salt

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Prayerlessness is powerlessness. A silent church is like salt without savor. Salt not only seasons and savors but it also burns.

The Word of God is a fat burner that burns out the enemy. Get more salt in your life!

Radiant With Joy!

by Hazel Straub

God is good and not only hears us but also answers our cries to him. As we spend time in his presence, we get freedom from many things that have had us bound. Free from those things that vex us and with which we struggle. This comes when we seek him with all our heart, focusing on his goodness, and praising him..

Our face radiates joy because we look at God and rest in him. We do not worry but seek him. It is time to become desperate for God alone. Then we will see him answer and deliver us. The angel of the Lord protects and encompasses those who honor and reverence God. He rewards those who seek him with all their hearts.

I prayed to the Lord, and he answered me.
He freed me from all my fears.
Those who look to him for help will be radiant with joy;
no shadow of shame will darken their faces.
In my desperation I prayed, and the Lord listened;
he saved me from all my troubles.
For the angel of the Lord is a guard;
he surrounds and defends all who fear him.
(Psalm 34:4-7 NLT)

You Are An Overcomer

by Hazel Straub

Though you fall thousands of times, it is imperative to get back up and continue. The journey does not go to the fleet of feet but to those who do not give up. The roll call of those who are faithful to God, is filled with diverse personalities and challenges. (Hebrews 11) Perfection is not needed but perseverance despite difficulties.

Failures and sin call for repentance, getting back on course, putting all trust in Yahweh, and fully relying on him for strength, not your prowess.

Now’s not the time to throw a pity party and wallow in the failures of the past. Instead it’s time to praise God, for his goodness and to move forward! You are an Overcomer.

For the lovers of God may suffer adversity
and stumble seven times,
but they will continue to rise over and over again.
But the unrighteous are brought down by just one calamity
and will never be able to rise again. (Proverbs 24:16 TPT)
