Afraid? Fear Not!

by Hazel Straub

Does it appear that the world is spinning out of control, with the pandemic and its fallout? Good news for believers in Jesus, as their Redeemer and Lord! Your life is hidden, in Christ Jesus and you live in him, where you enjoy victory. Everything that comes against you, has to go through him first, before it comes to you. He sifts all that comes into your life, through his hands of love. His love makes you secure, despite the negativity swirling around you.

In difficult times, keep your eyes fixed on him and his love for you. He conquered the enemy of our soul and his victory is our victory. No matter the hardship, he goes with you, to the other side. You prevail through trying times!

So it comes down to this: since you have been raised with the Anointed One, the Liberating King, set your mind on heaven above. The Anointed is there, seated at God’s right hand. Stay focused on what’s above, not on earthly things, because your old life is dead and gone. Your new life is now hidden, enmeshed with the Anointed who is in God. On that day when the Anointed One—who is our very life—is revealed, you will be revealed with Him in glory! (Colossians 3:1-4 The Voice)

Praise Jesus’ Name With Dance!

by Hazel Straub

My heart of love, beats for you, my wonderful bride. Thoughts of you fill me with delight and laughter. Redeemed with my blood, and resurrected from deadness, into abundant life. Dance, to the rhythm of my heart, in joyful praise!

Let them praise his name with dancing! Let them sing praises to him to the accompaniment of the tambourines and harp! (Psalm 149:3 NET)

Quick To Listen

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The most valuable thing to a dictatorship is “talking” but the most valuable thing to a relationship is “listening.”
It’s more successful to listen now gaining understanding, than misunderstand later for failure of listening.
May there be more emphasis on “listening” to the Father and talking less than more emphasis on talking to the Father and listening less.

Pride has a tendency of talking a lot, but Love has a tendency of “listening more.”
Father, forgive me for talking so much when I pray, help me to “listen more” to learn your ways…
God is always speaking, we should always be “listening…”
To listen is strength, to talk is energy.
A very essential part of our worship is to “listen” not only to God but to each other. “Listen.”

Your Mind – Stronghold Of Your Destiny!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Monitor and watch what you dwell your royal mind on. Wherever your mind goes, the rest of you will eventually follow. When you change your mind, you change your course.

In Acts 26:2, the Apostle Paul, told King Agrippa, “I think myself happy…” Well, if you can think yourself depressed, you can definitely think yourself happy. The word think in this text means to lead, to bring, to drive, to account, esteem, to judge of rule over.

What you think about, you bring about. Your mind is royally powerful, because one thought in your mind, could hinder or cause you to fulfill your extravagant destiny. Therefore, we have to monitor or govern what we dwell our royal minds on.

Holy Spirit, lead us into all Truth, bring us into fresh revelation and supernatural governmental wisdom. Esteem us with your glory, your heart, and your character attributes. Judge us with your love. We desire Your thoughts to rule over us. Stimulated and motivated by the Glory of You.

Meditate on this today till you become consumed with, “I have planned your life to be prosperous and peacefully good, to give you a great promising future. Your life has been divinely designed to be ecstatically good, purposely favored, and supernaturally effective. I love you so intimately, that I know where every piece of you has been scattered, and am bringing you together again to make you every whit whole. I always have more freedom to release to you, if you always have more mercy to release to others. My plans and My thoughts towards you are good, to do my good pleasure, to open my great treasure, and to perform my good word towards you, causing you to return to the place I created just for You.

If you stop thinking and speaking about things you don’t desire in your present, they will no longer exist in your future. Your mind is the stronghold of your destiny, or the speed bump towards your past. Be supernaturally validated and fortified to renew and rebuild it with Truth, Virtue, and Perfect Peace, one thought at a time. Give me your mind, and I will give you the world.

Embrace Change With Joy!

by Hazel Straub

Do you love change or do you cling to old familiar habits? Here in the Far North of Alaska, we are in a season of change. The ice on the river that runs through our city broke up on Tuesday night. The river channel that had been frozen for months was suddenly high and flowing with ice bergs. Then a river that it flows into, broke up today and has the ice flowing down stream. It is a welcome sight but may involve some flooding, if there are ice jams. Through the years, they have found that the thickness of the ice does not determine when break up will come. We welcome the mess of break up because summer will soon follow. Boats can traverse the river systems and bring goods to isolated communities. It is no longer dark at night and the sunshine changes everything. Even though it snowed today, the ice is breaking up and the snow is quickly melting. It is time to embrace the change!

In the same way, Jesus brings sunshine to our hearts and even the hardest of hearts can change when his love shines on us. Light brings new life and God’s love changes us. Our God is love, light, life, mercy and grace. Before we knew him, Jesus gave his life for us so we could enjoy breakthrough of self defeating patterns and constant mistakes, as we receive him into our lives. He brings change that allows the biggest problems to go like ice in the Springtime. The fire of love of God expressed in Jesus, brings healing and great joy! Look to Jesus and experience new life.

But unto you who revere and worshipfully fear My name shall the Sun of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings and His beams, and you shall go forth and gambol like calves [released] from the stall and leap for joy. (Malachi 4:2 AMPC)

What Is The Motivation Secret?

by Hazel Straub

Ever done something good and found it fell flat? You did the right thing but your heart was not in it. The secret ingredient to all that you do is love. If you serve, let love motivate you. When you give, interact with others, work, speak, pray, or read the Bible, have your actions seasoned with love. It changes everything!

Let love and kindness be the motivation behind all that you do. (1Corinthians 16:14 TPT)

Living Water!

by Hazel Straub

Behold—God is my salvation!
I am confident, unafraid, and I will trust in you.”
Yes! The Lord Yah is my might and my melody;
    he has become my salvation!
With triumphant joy you will drink deeply
from the wells of salvation. (Isaiah 12:2-3 TPT)

Rejoice because Jesus is our salvation. Trust God and know he sent Jesus, as our Redeemer. When we know Jesus, we know the God of our salvation. We have Jesus living inside of us, and out of us flows living water. We are not alone, he is with us, and we trust him.

Sing and rejoice because Jesus is our Salvation! He gives us living water!

Refocus

by Hazel Straub

Bad start to your day? Change your focus and take a praise break. Thank God for his love, kindness, light, and blessings in your life. Then view the circumstances through eyes of faith. Remember, you have a choice on what you focus your attention.

Raise your praise to God, and enjoy his presence. Refocus!

But You are holy,
Enthroned in the praises of Israel.
Our fathers trusted in You;
They trusted, and You delivered them. (Psalm 22:3-4 NKJV)
