The Love Of God

by Hazel Straub

The Lord desires to transition you, from your old mindset, into new ways of thinking. Let the past go, receive and rejoice in his presence today. He captivates your heart and calls you to himself. His love permeates and changes your heart. Explosions of his love transform you. Return to your first love and receive ALL the Lord has for you.

The love of God is erupting and changing receptive hearts. Open your heart today and receive all his love. His love changes how you view yourself and afterwards your sphere of influence. You will then express to others, his love, mercy, forgiveness, and compassion.

Then I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. Your filth will be washed away, and you will no longer worship idols.  And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations. (Ezekiel 36:25-27 NLT)

Lord, I open my heart to you and ask you to take my heart of stone and give me a new heart I let the past go and all the things that keep me from full devotion to you and receive your transforming love. I receive the new heart and fresh infilling of the Holy Spirit, Lord. Thank you for your life transforming love. Amen

Life Or Death In The Mouth

by Hazel Straub

God created us  in his image, with speech. God spoke and created the world. Likewise, we have the power to create life and death with our tongues. Our words are powerful and we either agree with God, as we speak, or with the enemy. Our speech reveals what dwells inside our hearts.

If we focus on the negative, we will curse ourselves and others. God, however, is calling us to focus on him. When we think on that which is good and praiseworthy, we will have speech that blesses many. If instead, fear and distrust consumes us, cursing will flow, demonstrated by our negative words and actions. We become connected to that on which, we meditate and think. Fear and anxiety robs us of God’s peace and loving care. Resting, yielding and relying on God, however, brings abundant provision and blessings, into our lives. These blessings will help and strengthen not only ourselves but also others.

Choose life or death with your speech today!

Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and they who indulge in it shall eat the fruit of it [for death or life]. (Proverbs 18:21 AMPC)

About Your Enemies

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Your enemies are really your friends but don’t know it yet.
Your enemies bring out the best in you.
Your enemies are your greatest fanfare.
Your enemies make your rough edges smooth.
Your enemies are going to live long enough to see you fulfill ALL your destiny.
Your enemies push you to new realms of worship and intercession.
Your enemies confirm how powerfully important you really are.
Your enemies are now the people who are putting you UP, who were the people putting you DOWN.
Your enemies are at peace with you when your ways please the Lord.
You’re so blessed, that your enemies come at you one way and flee in seven other directions.
Your enemies are anointed to serve a purpose for God in your life.

“But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.” (Genesis 50:20)

Go ahead thank God for “your enemies.”

So shall you say to Joseph: Forgive (take up and away all resentment and all claim to requital concerning), I pray you now, the trespass of your brothers and their sin, for they did evil to you. Now, we pray you, forgive the trespass of the servants of your father’s God. And Joseph wept when they spoke thus to him. Then his brothers went and fell down before him, saying, See, we are your servants (your slaves)! And Joseph said to them, Fear not; for am I in the place of God? [Vengeance is His, not mine.]
As for you, you thought evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring about that many people should be kept alive, as they are this day.
(Genesis 50:17-20 AMP)

So they sent Joseph a message, “Before his death, your father gave this command: Tell Joseph, ‘Forgive your brothers’ sin—all that wrongdoing. They did treat you very badly.’ Will you do it? Will you forgive the sins of the servants of your father’s God?” When Joseph received their message, he wept. Then the brothers went in person to him, threw themselves on the ground before him and said, “We’ll be your slaves.” Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid. Do I act for God? Don’t you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now—life for many people. Easy now, you have nothing to fear; I’ll take care of you and your children.” He reassured them, speaking with them heart-to-heart. (Genesis 50:17-20)

Adversity Develops Godly Character

by Hazel Straub

Trouble and adversity happen in our journey of life but God uses these things to build Godly character, inside of us. The fire of hardship, trials and obstacles refines us. The fire helps us learn to depend on God and not ourselves. We die to our fleshly responses, while in the fire.

God often takes us through troubles rather than immediately delivering us from them. Through this process, our character becomes more like Jesus. Joseph, was sold by his brothers as a slave. He was faithful to God but was falsely accused and ended up in a dungeon for many years. During this time, he forgave his brothers and got the character needed for his destiny, as prime minister in Egypt. He did not complain but looked to God to sustain him.

Thank God for troubles that drive us to our knees and to him. Do not complain but rejoice in the Lord. Lean into him for strength and rely on him and not your flesh. The fire of adversity puts pressure on us, so the fleshly ways get consumed in the flames, leaving us with a Godly character.

“Consider it a sheer gift, friends, when tests and challenges come at you from all sides. You know that under pressure, your faith-life is forced into the open and shows its true colors. So don’t try to get out of anything prematurely. Let it do its work so you become mature and well-developed, not deficient in any way.” (James 1:2-4 MSG)

But Joseph replied, “Don’t be afraid of me. Am I God, that I can punish you? You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. No, don’t be afraid. I will continue to take care of you and your children.” So he reassured them by speaking kindly to them. (Genesis 50:19-21 NLT)

Change!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

A lifestyle full of repentance is a lifestyle full of worship. The most dangerous person in the world is a person who won’t admit that they are wrong.

Change, Acknowledge, consider your ways, confess, repent! Lord, I repent…Selah

Discouraged?

by Hazel Straub

Discouraged and thinking about quitting? Do not quit! If you continue to persevere, your spiritual muscles get stronger and you win! Difficulties do not define you. Many times, when we feel exhausted and are ready to quit, victory is close. Look to Jesus for strength, and see yourself going over the finish line. You have come this far by faith and trusting in God to sustain you! Keep going! You are an overcomer!

My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can!  For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. We Need Each Other

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

There was a time when I would sing, “Long as I got King Jesus, I don’t need anyone else.” However, I can’t sing that anymore, because it’s not true nor scriptural. God created relationships and relationships are divine. Therefore, “savor,” do not sever the relationships where you are mutually involved, God gave us each other as well as himself.

Come To The God Zone

by Hazel Straub

Today is a new day and the past does not define you. God desires to take you higher and into new dimensions. Listen to him call you with love, to know him. He is calling to you to embrace the unknown and to come into a closer deeper relationship with him. Forget how you have always done things and leave the familiar past in the past.

Embrace what he is doing today in your life.  As you listen and obey his voice, those besetting sins and habits that stymied you in the past season, will be easily overcome. His grace, mercy and love are with you. Venture out of your comfort zone into the God Zone! He is your help and strength.

“So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. His son said to him, ‘Father, I have sinned against both heaven and you, and I am no longer worthy of being called your son. “But his father said to the servants, ‘Quick! Bring the finest robe in the house and put it on him. Get a ring for his finger and sandals for his feet.  And kill the calf we have been fattening. We must celebrate with a feast, for this son of mine was dead and has now returned to life. He was lost, but now he is found.’ So the party began. (Luke 15:20-24 NLT)
