Prayer To Listen To Abba God

by Hazel Straub

Abba Father God,

I am hungry for your presence. Today I press into you, Abba God and pursue you, like a young child. I shut out all the distractions that would keep me from your presence and quiet my mind. I release and set aside my agenda, cares, concerns and my list of requests. Right now, I press through all my issues to spend time with you.

My quest is to know what is on your heart. I want to listen to your heart and spend time in your presence. You have given all for me and I want to know what is important to you. My desire is know you and your vision, passions and your heart. I wait for you and will not leave you alone, Lord. May your vision fill my eyes and heart, as your friend. Speak to me for I am listening to your voice and will obey. Without your presence and voice, I cannot live because you are life.

Amen

My own sheep will hear my voice and I know each one, and they will follow me. I give to them the gift of eternal life and they will never be lost and no one has the power to snatch them out of my hands. (John 10:27-28 TPT)

Approved By God!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

The more you realize God has approved you and given you authority, the less you will seek the approval and authority of others. People pleasers live to hear people say, “You are important.” However, God pleasers live to hear the Father say, “You are my beloved in whom I am well pleased.”

Trust And Cling To The Vine

by Hazel Straub

Trust in God, means clinging to him. A cluster of grapes through its connection to a small vine, has substance and grows.  At times, we may not see Yahweh, in the midst of our perception of huge troubles. However, Yahweh, nourishes and sustains us, when we cling to him, like the grape cluster to the vine, giving us all we need to grow and mature. God is our help and support.

But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you
and trust in you with all my heart.
What harm could a man bring to me?
With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes.
The roaring praises of God fill my heart
as I trust (cling to) his promises. (Psalm 56:3-4 TPT)

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. (John 15:5 TPT)

Pursue God’s Presence

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

We can’t afford to stay in the same old wineskin–mindskin of yesterday, it will not hold or advance the new wine of the Holy Spirit, the present truth of God. My heart bleeds this morning; I can’t live in yesterday. No one after drinking the old wine wants the new, for he says, ‘”the old is better.” The old is rooted in the old systems of man, comfortability and familiarity. The new is rooted in the Kingdom of God, it’s uncomfortable and unfamiliar.

They pour new wine into new wineskins, so that both are preserved. How can we maintain the same comfortable routine, sing the same familiar songs and minister from the same old systems and keep the new? We are finding more important our song selections, our pre-selected sermons, and what impresses us, versus the fresh wineskin presence of the Lord and what impresses God. Pursue the presence of God and refuse to live in yesterday.

Prayer For A New Day

by Hazel Straub

Today Lord, I open my heart to you and place all my broken places before you. I turn to you and leave my wicked ways behind me, and surrender my life to you. Purify my heart and cleanse me from within of all my sin. I dedicate myself to you, today.

Thank you for a fresh start. Your ways are wonderful and I praise you for renewing my life. I glorify your name and praise you for a new day through Christ Jesus! Amen

God made my life complete
when I placed all the pieces before him.
When I cleaned up my act,
he gave me a fresh start.

Indeed, I’ve kept alert to God’s ways;
I haven’t taken God for granted.
Every day I review the ways he works,
I try not to miss a trick
.

I feel put back together,
and I’m watching my step.
God rewrote the text of my life
when I opened the book of my heart to his eyes.
 (2 Samuel 22:21-25 MSG)

Part Of Worship Is Waiting!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

You must stay in a state of repose, until something expected happens
The length of the wait, I really don’t know, but faith halts the dampens’
Waiting is a part of worship, being available to God in readiness
Concentrating on what He wants alleviates the pettiness.

Continue looking forward eagerly to what God will do
The Father’s heart is to bless you more than you desire him to
Keep your “expectors” on in expectation of the Father
Free yourself from the expectation of others, then you will not be bothered.

However, be grateful for the people in your life who are stalwart, and unswervingly loyal
Who wait in expectancy of God with you, now that’s simply royal.
Remember, waiting is seasonal, it’s only a test
The line between A and B is called the “process.”

Though the vision may tarry it will surely come to pass
Ask the Father to renew your strength in order that you can outlast
Mental anguish, anxiety, discouragement, or worried
You’re not waiting on a person, you’re waiting on God, who cannot be hurried

Hope deferred makes the heart-sick,
When we’re counting the clock’s tick-tock-tick
But a tree of life is a desire fulfilled
When you’re worshiping God at will for His will

Therefore, soar over the ground until your prey appears
Then lie in wait and ambush all unbelief, doubt, and fears
In this season of great change, great challenges, and great trial
Experiencing delay with the Lord isn’t always denial.

Waiting usually implies staying for a limited time for God’s definite purpose
Whatever you are waiting for, remember, God has it in surplus
The Lord is not rejecting you although his time may overlap your date
Just a prophetic reminder, “He’s not saying “no,” He’s just saying,”Wait”

Father, renew our strength and cause us to mount up with wings of great faith like the eagle’s. Let us run and not become weary, walk and not lose heart or courage as we “wait” upon You.

May the Father strengthen and encourage our hearts to wait on him today! Comprehending that He’s not saying no, He’s just saying “Wait.”

Doorway Of Hope

by Hazel Straub

It is those places of which you are most ashamed and want to bury in the past, that I the Lord God am redeeming. I am taking those places and turning them from a pit and trap, into a door of hope.

Just as fresh snow covers and transforms the landscape, so I am transforming your life. Rejoice, for I redeem and make you pure. Your past offers hope to the discouraged. Rejoice and look up, for I AM your Redeemer! Live!

I will return her vineyards to her and transform the Valley of Trouble into a gateway of hope. She will give herself to me there, as she did long ago when she was young, when I freed her from her captivity in Egypt. (Hosea 2:15 NIV)

Plans To Prosper You

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord. Plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call upon me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you seek Me with ALL YOUR HEART.”  (Jeremiah 29:11-13)

Faith In Action

by Hazel Straub

In the kingdom of God, we live by faith in the finished work of Jesus, on the cross. The motivation for our victorious life springs from faith, not our circumstances. We know the kingdom of God, within us, is unshakable, above and beyond our circumstances and problems.

Faith in action sees Jesus’ victory, as our victory, with the enemy defeated.  We tread on the enemy not the reverse. Our portion is life, abundant and free.

Now faith is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses]. (Hebrews 11:1 AMP)
