Trust And Cling To The Vine

by Hazel Straub

Trust in God, means clinging to him. A cluster of grapes through its connection to a small vine, has substance and grows.  At times, we may not see Yahweh, in the midst of our perception of huge troubles. However, Yahweh, nourishes and sustains us, when we cling to him, like the grape cluster to the vine, giving us all we need to grow and mature. God is our help and support.

But in the day that I’m afraid, I lay all my fears before you
and trust in you with all my heart.
What harm could a man bring to me?
With God on my side, I will not be afraid of what comes.
The roaring praises of God fill my heart
as I trust (cling to) his promises. (Psalm 56:3-4 TPT)

“I am the sprouting vine and you’re my branches. As you live in union with me as your source, fruitfulness will stream from within you—but when you live separated from me you are powerless. (John 15:5 TPT)

  1. Indeed when we remain connected to God ,He will sustain and nourish us and the growth is not observable in the time of trouble but when we pass the storm it will begin to make sense.
Let’s remain connected to the main Vine

    • Yes and amen! There is no better place to be than remaining in the vine. Jesus is the vine and we are the branches.
