When we seek God and dwell in him, his living water nourishes us. In his presence, our perspective changes to an eternal viewpoint. We become like a tenacious olive tree that enjoys long life, produces olives, oil for light, eating, and anointing oil. The olive tree is an evergreen. The roots of the olive tree can thrive in hot arid conditions, needing minimal water, and some still produce, after 2,000 years. The olive branch, is the symbol for peace. Noah sent out a dove from the ark after the flood and the dove returned with an olive branch in its beak. Holy Spirit’s presence comes in with the anointing of olive oil that breaks the heavy yoke.
Like the olive tree we will flourish, as we seek God, bask in his presence, and produce oil, as we are pressed and poured like oil.
But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God; I trust in and confidently rely on the loving-kindness and the mercy of God forever and ever. (Psalm 52:8 AMPC)
You can pray the least likely to happen, and it will happen. You can pray the unworkable and it will work. There is power when you pray and there is power in what you say. You can pray the impossible and it will take place. If you’ve done the possible and the possible isn’t working, then it’s time to do the IMPOSSIBLE! All things are possible to them that believe God.
Yahweh, my covenant keeping God My light who casts out all darkness My deliverer from danger and bondage My health and giver of vibrant life
My peace, wholeness and harmony My bestower of blessing through Christ My confident hope in whom I trust My Savior, Redeemer, Almighty God
My strength and giver of endurance My help, refuge and stronghold My heart, protector and comforter My fear reliever who loves me forever
The Lord is my Rock, my Fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my keen and firm Strength in Whom I will trust and take refuge, my Shield, and the Horn of my salvation, my High Tower. (Psalm 18:2 AMPC)
Yeshua bore it all. He took it all. He gave it all for you. Receive it all.
Lord forgive us for not receiving and enforcing what you did for us in our lives. You took all sickness and disease, all our sin, all poverty and lack, all bondage and afflictions upon yourself. You bore it all. You took our place, though it should have been us but you became the perfect substitute. Increase our ways of receiving the power of the work you did on Calvary for us.
(Isaiah 53:3-12 The Message) “He was looked down on and passed over, a man who suffered, who knew pain firsthand. One look at him and people turned away. We looked down on him, thought he was scum. But the fact is, it was our pains he carried-our disfigurements, all the things wrong with us. We thought he brought it on himself, that God was punishing him for his own failures. But it was our sins that did that to him, that ripped and tore and crushed him-our sins! He took the punishment, and that made us whole. Through his bruises, we get healed. We’re all like sheep who’ve wandered off and gotten lost. We’ve all done our own thing, gone our own way. And God has piled all our sins, everything we’ve done wrong, on him, on him.”
“He was beaten, he was tortured, but he didn’t say a word. Like a lamb taken to be slaughtered and like a sheep being sheared, he took it all in silence. Justice miscarried, and he was led off-and did anyone really know what was happening? He died without a thought for his own welfare, beaten bloody for the sins of my people. They buried him with the wicked, threw him in a grave with a rich man, Even though he’d never hurt a soul or said one word that wasn’t true.”
“Still, it’s what God had in mind all along, to crush him with pain. The plan was that he give himself as an offering for sin so that he’d see life come from it-life, life, and more life. And God’s plan will deeply prosper through him.”
“Out of that terrible travail of soul, he’ll see that it’s worth it and be glad he did it. Through what he experienced, my righteous one, my servant, will make many “righteous ones,” as he himself carries the burden of their sins.”
“Therefore I’ll reward him extravagantly the best of everything, the highest honors-Because he looked death in the face and didn’t flinch, because he embraced the company of the lowest. He took on his own shoulders the sin of the many, he took up the cause of all the black sheep.”
God has called us to live trusting him, in faith. We are not to fear and recite all the troubles with our circumstances. Instead of focusing on the impossibilities of your situation, thinking and complaining about all the difficulties, keep your focus on Yahweh, the covenant keeping God of your present, and his loving supernatural provision for you. Your problem can become the very thing used by God to show himself strong, on your behalf.
Faith in God, rehearsing his promises and crying out to him in trusting belief, causes him to hear and answer. With his help, you are victorious. Expect your miracle today! Remember, Jesus gave his life for you and what seemed like terrible defeat, brought you salvation, deliverance and abundant life.
Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. (Romans 10:17)
