Jesus’ Love Changes Us

Jesus, your love transforms and changes our lives
We just abide in your love with no need to strive
Your love has no meter or measure for our performance
No decrease or increase due to defiance or compliance

Jesus, it’s amazing how you love us with no expectations
To deeper depths and lofty heights in life’s celebration
We worship you Yeshua, our friend, love, life and light
We give you reverential honor and homage pay with delight

So now I live with the confidence that there is nothing in the universe with the power to separate us from God’s love. I’m convinced that his love will triumph over death, life’s troubles,  fallen angels, or dark rulers in the heavens. There is nothing in our present or future circumstances that can weaken his love. There is no power above us or beneath us—no power that could ever be found in the universe that can distance us from God’s passionate love, which is lavished upon us through our Lord Jesus, the Anointed One! (Romans 8:38-39 TPT)

    I love your entire poem, sister Hazel! This is my favorite part:

    Amen! We don’t need to perform for God to become acceptable to Him. We love Him because he first loved us!
