God’s Love Conquers Fear

by Hazel Straub

Much of the news stories on national media, send out fear, quashing faith in God. A favorite ploy of the enemy of our soul is to destroy our faith. However, when we know and trust God, our perspective changes. Even if the odds look insurmountable, we will not experience defeat, as we trust and praise God, for his faithfulness, to us.

Ancient Judah had the Assyrian huge army come against them and feared defeat. Instead their king encouraged them to believe God and not the power of the flesh. Anything is possible, when we believe God and trust him to fight our battles. They believed God and saw supernatural victory.

Fear not! God is with us. He loves and cares for us. He fights and wins our battles because we rest and trust in him. He purchased our freedom, from fear of the enemy! Thank you Jesus for winning our battles!

Be strong and brave! Don’t be afraid and don’t panic because of the king of Assyria and this huge army that is with him! We have with us one who is stronger than those who are with him. He has with him mere human strength, but the Lord our God is with us to help us and fight our battles!” The army was encouraged by the words of King Hezekiah of Judah.” (2 Chronicles 32:7-8 NET)

Most days, I avoid the news because everyone has an agenda & none of them can be fully trusted.

Yes! It is much better to think and meditate on God’s good news.
