God does not treat us as we deserve, but is very good to us. His goodness towards us causes us to soften our hearts, so we turn from our rebellion and fully to him. When our sinful behavior does not get immediate negative consequences, we tend to think that we are getting away with it. Instead, God draws us to him with love, grace and mercy.
Do the riches of his extraordinary kindness make you take him for granted and despise him? Haven’t you experienced how kind and understanding he has been to you? Don’t mistake his tolerance for acceptance. Do you realize that all the wealth of his extravagant kindness is meant to melt your heart and lead you into repentance? (Romans 2:4 TPT)

Indeed so, God is gracious. May we quickly repent and accept His mercy

Yes, it is so important to change our mond and receive Jesus and his finished work on the cross and his resurrection. Then we accept his mercy and new life.
