Rejoice In The Presence Of the Lord Jesus!

by Hazel Straub

The Lord Jesus is saying,”Walk confidently, into the new and spacious place, even though it is unfamiliar. Walk close by my side and let me lead the way for you. Rest in me, your redeemer, friend, shepherd and bridegroom.”

“Release and let go of the old ways of thinking and doing things. Enjoy this new place to which i have taken you.  Do not look back to the past, but rejoice in my presence. Trust me and see delights you cannot imagine, transform your life. Rejoice in the newness and freshness of my love and care for you.”

“But forget all that—
it is nothing compared to what I am going to do.
For I am about to do something new.
See, I have already begun! Do you not see it?
I will make a pathway through the wilderness.
I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.” (Isaiah 43:18-19 NLT)

  4. I am reading Sarah Young’s devotional ‘Jesus Calling’ this year. It, like the post you have written, is a daily reminder for me to practice living in the presence of the Lord. I know in my head that He is omnipresence (everywhere all the time), yet I sometimes need to remind my heart that He is with me every step of every day.
    Thanks for the reminder!
