Do You Listen To God?

God is always speaking but we are not always listening. He speaks in the Word of God and we gain wisdom, when we study and mediate on it. We can ask God questions and an answer is voiced by an impression. Also, we might feel uncomfortable taking a certain ,action and find danger was averted. He also sends us wise counsel and correction for our benefit. When we listen, submit and obey instruction, life goes better for each one of us.

Hear counsel, receive instruction, and accept correction, that you may be wise in the time to come. Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand.(Proverbs 19:20-21 AMPC)

An excellent message. I have had some recent conversations about this subject, and what you have written has confirmed what I had told the ones I was speaking to about how people are mot listening to God, and that we barely listen to each other. We need to open up our ears and not just hear, but listen to what God is saying.
