Although we might have gotten into a deep pit of despair, we can still look up and cry out to Yahweh. He answers and rescues us because he loves us.
Jesus is the foundation rock, on which we stand. Our mouths fill with a new fresh song of praise, due to our living in Yahweh’s love and mercy.
I waited patiently for Yahweh.
He turned to me and heard my cry for help.
He pulled me out of a horrible pit,
out of the mud and clay.
He set my feet on a rock
and made my steps secure.
He placed a new song in my mouth,
a song of praise to our Elohim.
Many will see this and worship.
They will trust Yahweh. (Psalm 40:1-3 NOG)

Reminds me of the Maranatha Singers song I Waited For The Lord. They often made songs using lyrics straight from the Bible, especially the Psalms. Another piece of Chuck Smith’s legacy.

The Bible is living and active and changes our lives. Not familiar with the I Waited For The Lord song. Yahweh’s love and mercy is incredible! Blessings!
