Today, Lord, I surrender myself to you alone
Not my will but your will be done with my life
I release my ambitions, selfishness and pride
All of me fully given to you Father God for your use
Surrendered!
So then, surrender to God. Stand up to the devil and resist him and he will flee in agony. (James 4:7 TPT)

We give up living by the flesh and doing what we want, let it go. Give our heart (way we think, our will, and our emotions) to Jesus the one and only one son of God, came from Heaven, to be born a human, to die in our place, and be resurrected to new life after 3 days. He died in our place so we can know our Heavenly Father. Holy Spirit lives inside of believers in Jesus and instructs them in all truth. Surrender means that your flesh and pride no longer live and Jesus the Anointed One lives inside you. Jesus said in the garden before he was beaten, slapped, spit on, stripped and gave his life on the cross in our place, “Father if possible, take this cup (all the sins of the world) from me, not my will but your will be done. This is true surrender.
“If you are willing and obedient,
you will eat the good things of the land;
but if you resist and rebel,
you will be devoured by the sword.”
For the mouth of the Lord has spoken.” (Isaiah 1:19-20)
