God is calling us to his rest. Too often we fill our days and nights full of activities, without pausing to rest. Rest rejuvenates, restores and revives. Slow down, calm down and rest. Get some needed sleep. Do not let the urgent things rob you of vital refreshment. Get your priorities right and do the most important. Be still, listen and become intimate with Daddy God. Rest.
Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28 NIV)

By faith, let us enter into the Sabbath rest of Christ. The first-generation of Israelites under Moses did not enter into the promised land but perished in the wilderness because of their lack of faith.
Hebrews 4:9-11, There remains, then, a Sabbath-rest for the people of God; 10 for anyone who enters God’s rest also rests from their works,[a] just as God did from his. 11 Let us, therefore, make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one will perish by following their example of disobedience.
Try taking a day off work every 6 days, a week off after every 6 weeks, and a year off after every 6 years.
Our ultimate rest is in Christ. Come to Him and He will give you rest….

Amen! And when I don’t, God takes the wind out of my sails and puts me to bed for a day or so to recover from some malady! I love those special days of laying in His hands!
