Wait on the Lord, embracing testing and trials, with more receptivity. He is using these things to purify your heart and to mature you. Love is his motivation. Trust him, as you go through the process and know it is for your good. Keep your focus on Jesus and don’t get distracted by your circumstances. His life, light and love surrounds you and will radiate from you, as you rely on him with thankfulness.
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties, see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up in you the power of endurance. And then as your endurance grows even stronger, it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. (James 1:2-4 TPT)

So true, sometimes however it feels like my purpose is to be the example of how to go through trails because it’s all I seem to go through. If that’s my calling though I will be the best example I can be.

“But he knows where I am going. And when he tests me, I will come out as pure as gold.” (Job 23:10) Know that you are going through the fire and the end result will be you as pure gold. Focus on Jesus and you will look like him, strengthened and an overcomer.

Thank you for the reminder to stay focused on Jesus through our ups and downs. There are so many distractions that work to pull us away from him!
