The Love Of Jesus

by Hazel Straub

Jesus, your love transforms and changes our lives
We merely abide in your love with no need to strive
Your love has no meter or measure for our performance
No decrease or increase due to defiance or compliance

Jesus, it’s amazing how you love us with no expectations
To deeper depths and lofty heights in life’s celebrations
We worship you Yeshua, our friend, help, love, life and light
We give you reverential honor and homage pay with delight

And walk in love, as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us, a fragrant offering and sacrifice to God. (Ephesians 5:2 ESV)

I had tried but failed to make it long lasting.

    • Steve, no one can love like this on their own. We need Jesus who died to redeem us from our failures out of his love to love through us. When you invite Jesus who died to redeem you and resurrected to new life and defeated the enemy of our souls, to live inside you, he loves through you. We turn from our trying to love on our own and surrender to Jesus. Jesus, the one and only Son of God, I admit I have made many mistakes in my life, I surrender my life to you and make you Lord and Savior of my life. Live in me, cleanse me with your blood and teach me how to love through you. Thank you for new life.

      • Thank you.
But actually I am not a Christian atleast on papers.
Do you Jesus will still be merciful towards me.
Cause although I am born in Hindu family, I feel a strong connection to Jesus Christ.

      • This is the first part of the gospel of John, on of Jesus’ disciples. I think it answers your question.

John 1:1-18 New Living Translation https://biblehub.com/nlt/john/1.htm
        Prologue: Christ, the Eternal Word
1In the beginning the Word already existed.
        The Word was with God,
        and the Word was God.
2He existed in the beginning with God.
        3God created everything through him,
and nothing was created except through him.
4The Word gave life to everything that was created,
and his life brought light to everyone.
5The light shines in the darkness,
and the darkness can never extinguish it.
6God sent a man, John the Baptist, 7to tell about the light so that everyone might believe because of his testimony. 8John himself was not the light; he was simply a witness to tell about the light. 9The one who is the true light, who gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.

10He came into the very world he created, but the world didn’t recognize him. 11He came to his own people, and even they rejected him. 12But to all who believed him and accepted him, he gave the right to become children of God. 13They are reborn—not with a physical birth resulting from human passion or plan, but a birth that comes from God.

14So the Word became humand and made his home among us. He was full of unfailing love and faithfulness.e And we have seen his glory, the glory of the Father’s one and only Son.

15John testified about him when he shouted to the crowds, “This is the one I was talking about when I said, ‘Someone is coming after me who is far greater than I am, for he existed long before me.’”

16From his abundance we have all received one gracious blessing after another.f 17For the law was given through Moses, but God’s unfailing love and faithfulness came through Jesus Christ. 18No one has ever seen God. But the unique One, who is himself God, is near to the Father’s heart. He has revealed God to us.

Jesus accepts all that receive him. You can use the link and read more about Jesus Christ.

        Abundant blessings.

      • I am very very thankful to you for sharing this.

The reading of bible and Jesus words purifies my soul.

I am here in India, earning a living but deep within me is a longing to visit Jerusalem and surrender myself to the soil he walked upon.

I know many will not understand my love, but it’s a reality for me.

        Thanks to you.
