Don’t get caught up in the “knowledge of Him,” be caught up in “knowing Him.” Knowledge alone doesn’t excite true worshipers, we desire to know Him more…

  3. The key phrase in your warning is ‘knowledge alone’. We must know (love) our Lord Jesus Christ, but that must be based upon the knowledge of Him that He has revealed in the written word. Without that book, we cannot know of His love for sinners or His will for our salvation.

    • It is important to know the Word of God and to do it. Many know the Word and gain knowledge but do not know the author of the book. We must know Jesus the Son of God and have a personal relationship with him. Otherwise, it is dead religion. Love is important but relationship with Jesus is so important too.

“Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ (Matthew 7:21-23)
