Pure Glory

Abba Father,

My heart, my way of thinking, my will, and emotions, I surrender and give to you. Soften and tenderize the hard places in my heart and make it soft and pliable.

Ignite and consume my heart, so that I am aflame with love for your son, Jesus and you. Give me eyes that are solely focused on him, captivated and motivated by his love. Transform my heart with explosions of your love, until I am contagious with love, mercy and compassion, for family, friends, neighbors and enemies.

Let the expression of love and mercy, in my life, be a sign and wonder to others. May the image of your son, Jesus, be what is seen in me.

So be it!

Thank you, Abba, love from your beloved child

The light of God’s love shined within us  when he sent his matchless Son into the world so that we might live through him. This is love:  He loved us long before we loved him. It was his love, not ours. He proved it by sending his Son to be the pleasing sacrificial offering to take away our sins. Delightfully loved ones, if he loved us with such tremendous love, then “loving one another” should be our way of life!
