How Deep Is Your Love For The Flawed?

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Isn’t it strange how worshipers of God, can discern and expose the wrong that someone else is doing or has done, but can never discern and expose the wrong they’re doing or have done? The words that come out of their mouths usually define how false and shallow their worship is. However, how well you love others, (flaws and all), defines how true and deep your worship is.

Many say they worship and love Me but their “hearts” are far from Me… (Matthew 15:8)

  1. Recognizing one’s flaws and sinful nature is the first step towards true love for our fellow human beings. “And forgive our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.”

    • Right on, Peter! For us to receive forgiveness, we must forgive those who trespass against us! Blessings!

  2. Indeed. It is easier for someone without self awareness to see what’s wrong with others and not see themselves. I believe that spiritual maturity and the work of the Holy Spirit can also help us to have a more balanced view of ourselves and others.

  3. Thank you for another great insight. The evil works by corrupting our relationship with others and it starts with the desire to blame others and count their wrongs and flaws.
