Let Your Light Shine!

by Hazel Straub

Where there is light, the darkness cannot overcome it. Light always conquers the dark. Light originates with Daddy God and as we shine with his light, he gets the glory. No matter how dark the world, darkness cannot conquer the light.  When your foundation is God, through Jesus the Messiah, you radiate the Glory Light. Remember light heals and changes one’s perspective.

No matter the evil, it flees from the light. You are the light of the world. Do not curse the darkness but shine, dispelling the darkness!

Your lives light up the world. For how can you hide a city that stands on a hilltop? And who would light a lamp and then hide it in an obscure place? Instead, it’s placed where everyone in the house can benefit from its light.  So don’t hide your light. Let it shine brightly before others, so that your commendable works  will shine as light upon them, and then they will give their praise to your Father in heaven.” (Matthew 5:14-16 TPT)

  2. Beautiful post! Light and darkness cannot coexist. When light comes in, darkness bows out. This is the message we have heard from him and declares to you: God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all (1 John. 1:5). Darkness connotes frustration, confusion and stagnation. People make no headway when there is darkness. It’s the incoming of the word of God that sparks light…The entrance of Your words gives light (Psalm.119:130). Darkness does not struggle with light. You cannot be lighted and be tormented. It’s either you are in light or darkness; in God on in devil (no middle way). No one can serve two masters. Either you will hate the one and love the other, or you will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve both God and money (Mathew.6:24).
