During your day, you hear many voices, speaking doom, gloom, and negativity. Do not become the devil’s prophet acting as his mouthpiece. Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. (2 Corinthians 10:5 KJV)
It is important to renew your mind, with the Word of God. Be still and know that God is speaking. Listen to him and keep your focus on him, not the problems or circumstances. As you you listen and develop a relationship with him, you will know he is your Problem Solver and much bigger than any of your issues. When your thoughts are focused on God, who loves and cares for you, fears flee. Speak God’s solutions and see them manifest, as you agree with him! God created us in his image, he spoke the world into existence. Our mouth is powerful because we speak either blessings or curses with our mouths!
You shall also decide and decree a thing, and it shall be established for you; and the light [of God’s favor] shall shine upon your ways. (Job 22:28 AMPC)

I hear you….but the word is full of Gods prophets proclaiming doom and gloom on babylon so that the children of God would flee it. All those still pandering up to Babylon need to flee the doom that shall be visited upon that harlot.

True, there will be judgment on Babylon, but God provides in the midst of famine. Isaac sowed in the middle of famine and reaped a crop of 100 fold. Elijah followed God and was supernaturally provided for during a 3.5 years of it not raining and famine. The widow who kept him was provided for Elijah was provided for and her son raised from the dead. God is faithful!

Amen to that! And Elijah destroyed the prophets of Baal and Jehu destroyed the descendants of Ahab and the dogs ate Jezebel and David slew Goliath and they held the spear in one hand and the trowel in the other as the built the walls. The only doom and gloom is for all those hanging on tight to Babylon for she shall be judged and fall and not rise again. God is about to kindle a fire in the cities and it shall devour round about until all her captives are set free.

Regular reading of God’s Word is the recipe to stay away from the false prophets of our modern world.

We need to know how to use our minds.i love this scripture Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and if there is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these
We need to overcome our mundsets when they lure us to meditate on bad things

Yes, the scripture illustrates the point perfectly. Jesus, Father God and Holy Spirit really fits the description, they are so good!

Just read all these comments. Too wonderful. I ask your forgiveness. Have been shown things this morning by the Lord begore reading your comments. He showed me that always unconsciously place a negative thing, be it scripture or any opposite thing or possibility alongside the positive. Then i choose and reason and rationalise between the two. It is a pattern that is deep in me….it is death to do that. I only just saw this. I want to walk in the spirit. Thats where i am at. 😦

I thought the small voices within me was my own musings. Because I didn’t think God would talk to me. But with time, I realised it was God’s own sweet voice. And now we together spend a lot of time in warm conversations , sometimes we laugh together, sometimes we cry together, sometimes we have kiddish fights😂 . But we enjoy each other’s company so much. The time I spent in talking to God is my favourite time of a day.🥰
