Make Your Life A Prayer!

by Hazel Straub

What is your reaction to lockdown, problems, challenges, and opposition? Do you complain and wonder why it is happening to you? Or do you praise the Lord and rejoice in him, despite troubles? When things go well, we take life for granted and may become complacent. Difficulties make us uncomfortable, exposes the lie and illusion that we are self-sufficient. Pain and hardship cause us to cry to God, in desperation. No one and nothing can satisfy us except God. He will fulfill all his promises and turns the ugly to good. Pray constantly, rejoice in the Lord, and give thanks to God, in everything!

My cry today: Lord, thank you for your loving kindness to me. Thank you that you are with me during my trials and are my help and refuge. Only you can satisfy my hunger and without you, I perish. More of you and less of me! All the glory is yours! Thank you for bringing good from what was meant for evil. I rejoice in you God, my salvation and strength! Amen

Make your life a prayer.  And in the midst of everything be always giving thanks, for this is God’s perfect plan for you in Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:17-19 TPT)

  2. This is why it is said that the kingdom of God is within you.
You become more aware of life and detached from the outcome but open to receive all that comes from the divine flow of life knowingly seeing the greater picture and all the best possibilities from the infinite …

    • Believing in Jesus and making him Lord, makes for a humble heart. He changes us from within by his righteousness, shed blood, and resurrection. He lives inside of us!

  4. Wonderful Sunday message! When things go well, we often forget the One who sustains us. When troubles are brewing, we are indeed being reminded that we cannot rely on ourselves.

  5. Yes!! I have witnessed far too many “Christians” do nothing but whine and complain throughout this whole time, rather than pray and praise. I have really tried to draw closer and try to think of others first, like Jesus tells us.
