Pure Glory

Everything we could ever need for life and godliness has already been deposited in us by his divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing him who has called us by name and invited us to come to him through a glorious manifestation of his goodness. (2 Peter 1:3 TPT)

It is truly amazing that God has supplied us with everything we need for life and living godly. He gave us gifts and allows us to know him as our Daddy, who loves us. Many times we fail to unwrap the gifts he placed inside of us because we don’t spend time in his love letter to us, the Bible, that will renew our mind. Also we do not get to know him personally and live in his presence. He calls us by name and will tell us why he placed us on earth at this time. He sent his one and only Son to lay down his life for our sins, so we could live forgiven, have a close relationship with our true Daddy, discover our gifts, while we fulfill our purpose. Spend time with him, unwrap the gifts he placed inside of you and get to know him.

Daddy God, make me hungry for your Word and your presence. Let the joy of knowing you, who calls me by my name, make me hungry to devour your Word, and bask in your loving presence. I want to really know you, not just about you. Thank you for your goodness to me. It is my desire to know you and to unwrap all the gifts you placed inside of me. Your goodness that manifests in my life is incredible. My desire is to know you! Thank you for your incredible love through your Son Jesus!
