So true that harbouring unforgiveness can be such a hurdle for our growth in Christ.

Yes, not forgiving blocks so much in our growth with Christ.

Check with the Checker (God). AMEN! Thank you, Gabriel! Unforgiveness indeed clogs (my life, not necessarily the other person’s).
Blessings to you.

That’s right! Forgiveness is more about us than it is about the person who offended us. We must forgive in order to be free!

yes and amen! Thank God we can forgive because we have been forgiven by God through Jesus. Before Christ I couldn’t forgive but blamed others or myself, questioning if there was a God, as years of religion didn’t change anything. But God! sent the Holy Spirit and fire down from heaven out of Christ, that went through my spirit and soul and body, and caught me up and changed the lies I had believed to His truth in the glory, and when I had a chance to “recover” from that experience from reading the bible for three straight days while my husband was at work, the Living Christ said, “Come to Me, you who are weary and heavy laden, and I will give you rest” and a flame of fire in my solar plexus started to rise and increase in intensity until it hit my heart, breaking off the chains, feeling like fireworks exploding within, and I started again, anew, with a new heart and new spirit on a new soul journey of discovery and revelation in the knowledge of God and his glory that ever increases and never ends, glory to glory to glory; grace upon grace from Christ’s fullness! There were many ups and downs, highs and lows, and wrong turns on the path until I was able to forgive even those who have hurt me so badly, and surrender it all to Jesus, and yield to the Holy Spirit to be led, trusting God has my back, front, sides, below, above, around and within, when we give him our all! I give thanks and praise to God our Father and the Cross of Jesus that forgave our sins and trespasses and falling short of the glory, so we can forgive others who sin and fall short of the glory and trespass against us. Thank you Jesus!
