Trust And Run To God

by Hazel Straub

Leave your worries and rest confidently in me, God. Cease from your labors, my child. Trust me, submit to me in all your ways and follow me.

Listen and obey for there is no other way to advance in my kingdom. I am stirring things up inside of you and showing you what has been hidden underneath your nice facade. Turn from your sin, confess it and let me cleanse you from all unrighteousness. The blood of my Son cleanses you. Submit to me, as the first and final authority in your life. Humble yourself and give all of your heart to me. My love and favor will pursue you!

“Trust God from the bottom of your heart;
don’t try to figure out everything on your own.
Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go;
he’s the one who will keep you on track.
Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God! Run from evil!
Your body will glow with health, your very bones will vibrate with life!
Honor God with everything you own; give him the first and the best.
Your barns will burst, your wine vats will brim over.
But don’t, dear friend, resent God’s discipline; don’t sulk under his loving correction.
It’s the child he loves that God corrects; a father’s delight is behind all this.”(Proverbs 3:5-12 MSG)

  5. The Lords discipline is sweet and good. When we receive it with open hearts we will see the glory of the Lord as never before. A loving father corrects his children and a child who knows they are loved (though it might hurt in the moment) will accept the discipline because they know in the end it will provide safety, joy, provision and so much more. I want that. I choose to trust the Lords discipline in my life, though firm and uncomfortable, I know this is necessary because of what He wants to do. Amen
