Discouraged because of hardship, trials, and the unexpected? Change your focus to the unfailing love of God. If we look, we will see how God blesses us, in the midst of our daily struggles.
When we choose to have great confidence and trust, in God’s loyalty and covenant of love, expressed in Jesus – the Anointed One, who gave his life for us, we really live. As a result, our hearts are full of joy and laughter because he saved us from destruction. We sing to Yahweh, as he cares for us bountifully, without restraint.
What amazing love!
But I have trusted, leaned on, and been confident in Your mercy and loving-kindness; my heart shall rejoice and be in high spirits in Your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because He has dealt bountifully with me. (Psalm 13:5-6 AMPC)

Psalm 56:3-4 (NIV) recognizes that we all get scared. I’ve quoted it here:
When I am afraid, I will trust in you. In God, whose word I praise, in God I trust; I will not be afraid. What can mortal man do to me?
The blessed assurance is that nothing can overcome our God!
