The Bread Of Life

by Hazel Straub

Hungry and thirsty? We have a spiritual hunger and thirst that is satisfied with a personal relationship with Jesus the Christ. He gave his life to feed the world. Come to him to get your hunger and thirst filled, as you trust and depend on him.

Jesus replied, I am the Bread of Life. He who comes to Me will never be hungry, and he who believes in and cleaves to and trusts in and relies on Me will never thirst any more (at any time). (John 6:35 AMPC)

Amen! We also read in Luke 4:4 and other Bible passages: And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, that man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God.

    thank you Pure Glory!
    yes and amen
“Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, they are satisfied”
“The kingdom of God is not food and drink, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit”
“Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness” and all of Christ and His righteousness is given to us as we give him all of our life.
We eat the Word of God and we drink the Spirit of God and we are restored, healed, delivered, set free, regenerated, fulfilled, satisfied, able to rest in Christ in God, like David said our soul can rest when satiated with Christ, to rest on his breast like John the beloved; not dying before we see Jesus coming in his glory (John 21:20-24; Matthew 16:27-28).
Jesus says, “Come to Me and Drink” “You search the scriptures and fail to come to Me”
Eat the meat of the Word and come to spiritual maturity. “My Words are life and Spirit”
thank you Jesus! thank you Abba! Father! thank you Holy Spirit!
