No Retaliation–Let God Demonstrate!

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

When you don’t retaliate to the lies, betrayal, assassination of character, and even attempts of death towards your life. Yahweh says, “What was theirs, will become yours.” It doesn’t matter who it is or what they may have done, (family, friends, church, work associates, etc.) So don’t retaliate, let God DEMONSTRATE!

(Just look at Saul and David 1 Samuel 16-19). King Saul first summoned for a minstrel, and received David. David served him. Then later Saul became jealous of David and tried to kill him. However, David loved Saul greatly. Eventually, God made David, King! He didn’t have to promote himself, God did. (Psalms 75:6-7) God is promoting you! (Psalms 105:24) God is making you stronger than your enemies! Although your enemies may come at you from one direction, God will make your enemies flee from you in seven different directions. (Deuteronomy 28:7)

  2. It’s an important lesson but on a trivial note, how many books and movies would lose their main plot line if folks didn’t get revenge. Such a human response.

    • The movies and books would start reflecting God’s values and life instead of a culture of death and defeat!

  3. It is best to let God deal with it and let us pray for our enemies so that they may change their ways.
