Gratitude And Thankfulness Honors God

by Hazel Straub

Gratitude and thankfulness to God, for all he has done for us, keeps our focus on him. Thankfulness is what we give to get closer to God. This attitude honors God and helps us to walk his way. Thankfulness is the key to revelation of God’s salvation. Rejoice and praise him! Then we experience true life and joy!

But giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me.
If you keep to my path,
I will reveal to you the salvation of God. (Psalm 50:23 NLT)

  1. For 3 years now I write at least 10 things down each day that I am thankful to God for. I can tell you, it helped me become more aware of all the things He blesses us with.

  5. We thank God for what He has done. This moves God to organize for more blessings that will lead to more thanksgiving. Appreciation equals multiplication(Jer.30:19).
