Trust God And Roll Your Cares On Him

by Hazel Straub

Have you ever had concerns about your life that you gave to God, but quickly took it back? Positive change occurs, however, when we roll all of our heavy load of worries and leave it with him, trusting with confidence that he is taking care of us.

Then we enjoy a peaceful, tranquil mind because we know our Heavenly Father loves us, and is our refuge. strength and help. We rest and can hear his words of love for us, knowing that he will give us our heart’s desire because our heart (mind, will and emotions) is given to him. We enjoy spending time with him and getting to know him.

Trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) in the Lord and do good; so shall you dwell in the land and feed surely on His faithfulness, and truly you shall be fed. Delight yourself also in the Lord, and He will give you the desires and secret petitions of your heart. Commit your way to the Lord [roll and repose (rest) each care of your load on Him]; trust (lean on, rely on, and be confident) also in Him and He will bring it to pass. (Psalm 37:3-5 AMPC)

    • Yes, it is some much better not to carry all the cares and give them to God!

  12. 🙂 I had to smile about this because I am forever telling everyone how I give things to God, then grab them and run away with the problem. With God’s help I am getting better and leaving my issues at His feet. I am slightly on the hard headed side but I see how well things work when I just give it, and leave it with God.

  13. I give God things and take them back-a habit I am working, with God’s help, I am working on this daily. The one I fail at the very most-my kids. I know He loves them way, way more than I can even comprehend, but still…
    Blessings~

    • RobbyFaye, it is easy to give things to God and then snatch them back. God wants us to trust him with our biggest problems. It’s going from the intellectual knowledge to knowing in our heart that God has it all! It is a growing process. Abundant blessings!!
