The blood of Jesus flows over us and cleanses us. Cleanses means to remove every particle of toxins or filth. The blood of Jesus Christ cleans us from all sin. No matter how dirty we were, when we receive Jesus, his blood makes us clean from all sin. If we confess our sins, God forgives us. This shows God’s mercy and extravagant love for us. Thank you God!
But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanest us from all sin. If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:7-9 KJV)

My Dad died of blood cancer. It was such a comfort for him to know that a more powerful blood, the blood of Jesus, washed him and flowed through his veins, and because of that blood, although his body was dying, he was being made new every day. He was more than a conquerer!

Yes, your dad was more than a conquerer! The blood of Jesus cleanses us. Your dad is now in the great cloud of witnesses, who cheer us on. (Hebrews 12:1-3) Free from pain and full of life!

I like this. You preached the truth by quoting Apostle John. It is walking in the light as he is in the light where salvation is found. To return to darkness and confess our sins because he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins returns us to the light. Most today believe all of our sins past, present, and future are forgiven us by saying the magical “sinner’s prayer” which is not found in the Bible. Is this true? Jesus said that all liars go to the lake of fire. He said if we do not forgive from the heart we shall not be forgiven. He said if we do not feed the hungry, give water to the thirsty, clothe the naked, visit the sick and those in prison, that we are goats and not sheep. He also said that whoever has his commands but does not obey them is the one who does not love him. Bless you for sharing your recent posts about the blood of Jesus.
