The bigger the battle that we face, the bigger the victory that we will see. When we face big problems and obstacles, we cannot depend on our own strength and ingenuity. We need to come to the end of ourselves and trust in God to give us victory. God-dependency and not self-dependency.
Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom,
but my miracle deliverance can never be won by men.
Our boast is in the Lord our God,
who makes us strong and gives us victory! (Psalm 20:7 TPT)

I have always went with the idea that any “self reliant ” skills that I possess are there because God put them there. Any knowledge I have is because He placed a teacher in my life. I have confidence in these resources but the glory is His.

Yes, everyone is given a natural gift by God. He however, as our Heavenly Father wants a close relationship with each one of us. He loves to share his wisdom of how to use the gift with us. It works so much better when we rely on him and are not independent of God.
