Follow The Good Shepherd

Just because you have always done things the same way, in this new season, you may have to shift. God, your Good Shepherd, wants you to listen and follow him, not stay where you are comfortable.

It was by faith that Abraham obeyed when God called him to leave home and go to another land that God would give him as his inheritance. He went without knowing where he was going. (Hebrews 11:8 NLT)

  1. Help me trust Him and not be stubborn or afraid

  2. Thank You for the shift Lord Jesus.

  3. Wow, this whole week has been about the good shepherd. My pastor used it as an illustration on Sunday, in my Bible study on Tuesday night we discussed it, and in the Bible study I teach on Wednesday morning, it was also part of the discussion. I love the illustration of the sheep being in the pen at night and having only one opening being available. And thatโ€™s where the Shepherd lies down to protect the sheep from all the dangers. He is our gate keeper!

  4. I think I really needed this exhortation today. Thank you for being faithful.

    • God us is good! His timing is perfect. Blessings!

  5. Leave my comfort zone! The familiar is often too comfortable.

  6. Reblogged this on osarobohenry.

  7. Amen! Thank you Lord for speaking through this post to me! Thank YOU!

    • Hallelujah! All praise and honor to the Lord God!
