Have you gone through difficult times in your life? The only solution, is to press into God and get his perspective on our challenges. God wants us to lean into him, gain his wisdom, grace and mercy for the day. Oftentimes, we sail through life, without depending on God and developing a close relationship with him until the storm hits. Then the trials cause us cry out to God and seek him. God wants us to depend on him and to rely on his strength, drawing near to him, in both good and hard circumstances.
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested[a] it stirs up power within you to endure all things. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. (James 1:2-4 TPT)

Agreed there is sweetness in the trial when we hold on and move with Him.

Yes, it is the good times that draw us away from him.

It is somehow easy to forget but should not be. We need to rely on God! Love this! xo

I totally agree. At times in my life when everything was going good, I found myself straying away from Him, maybe even thinking that I didn’t need Him at the moment. But we always need Him, and when He brings disaster in our life, it can be the one thing that brings us back to Him. Makes us realize that we always need Him and that even in the good times we need to respect that He is in control and praise and thank Him for our blessings. Thank you for sharing your look on our trials we face as christians, I love it! 🙂

Yes, trials make us realize how much we need to depend on God. During easier times, we tend to not depend on him as much. The truth is we need God dependence always! Blessings!
