There is nothing ordinary about you because God created you in his image. You are a three-part being-spirit, body and soul that corresponds to God who is Spirit, Christ Jesus who came in the flesh (body), and Holy Spirit (heart or soul-mind, will and emotions). God created you for relationship with him and gave you rulership over the earth.
Know and appreciate your uniqueness! God gives us all we need to succeed.
God said, Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make mankind in Our image, after Our likeness, and let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the [tame] beasts, and over all of the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth. So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them. And God blessed them and said to them, Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth. Thanks for lifting my spirit! I enjoyed being reminded that I am uniquely created by God. This morning my meditation was on doing God’s Will in every moment. So I put reminders in my phone to renew that commitment. I’m trying to remember to pray, “Lord, I give you all my liberty, my memory, understanding, my entire will.”

The thing I love about the creation story is that there is so much there we can learn. Our identity as being created by God is certainly one of the focal points of the story. Thanks for the reminder!
