Faith In God

by Hazel Straub

Faith means believing. Believe, trust and rely, on God, to fulfill all of his promises, to you. Believe and watch God do it!

I ask you again, does God give you the Holy Spirit and work miracles among you because you obey the law? Of course not! It is because you believe the message you heard about Christ. In the same way, “Abraham believed God, and God counted him as righteous because of his faith.” The real children of Abraham, then, are those who put their faith in God. (Galatians 3:5-8 NLT)

  4. Wonderful reminder! Thank you.

  5. Faith is a necessary part of a much greater picture – full love and obedience to The Father and walking in faith. Without the necessary fruits, how could anyone know you have faith- just because you say you have it? I challenge all to walk in faith and belief and put on righteousness as Abraham did!

    • Yes, when you believe God you are obedient to him and love him.

  6. Beautiful. How do we get the belief – and sustain it forever and ever?

    • Cry out to God and ask him to make himself real to you. Read the Bible–Matthew, Mark, Luke and John and ask God to give you faith in Jesus. Seek him with all your heart and you will find him.
