Depressed Or Worried?

by Hazel Straub

What occupies your mind and your thoughts? Feeling offended by others, not treated right, depressed? The things you worry or resign yourself to, decides what manifests in your life. Looking at your circumstances, and not to God, to set your course, for today? Have a different thought and change your life!

Lift up your eyes, receive the love, hope and joy that God is pouring out on you today!

Let the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart (mind, will and emotions) be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord, my [firm, impenetrable] Rock and my Redeemer. (Psalm 19:14 AMPC)

  1. Yes indeed. As a man thinks, so is he. A good word, Sister Hazel.

    • Praise God! It is so good we can have another thought. Thank you for the encouragement, Sister Sandra.

  2. Great saying and so true. Leave everything in his hands and no worries, no fear and no tension. Simply flow. Amazing post.

    • Yes, we need to trust God for everything. Then we will not worry or be depressed.

  3. Your posts are uplifting. Bravo! I have nominated you for the Lovely Solidarity Blogger Award

    • Thank you for thinking of Pure Glory. Your honoring our blog is appreciated. However, we are a blog free blog. Blessings

  4. I have seen that photo a few times before, but every single time I see it I cannot help but think of His eyes. I often try to imagine how big He is, what He looks like…that’s hard to do, because I don’t think our minds could comprehend His majesty.

    • God loves us so much! His eyes are always on us. I agree that God has more to him than we can comprehend. However, I remember that Jesus said if you had seen him, you had seen the Father. (John 14:9) Since Jesus lives inside of each believer, I think he shines out of each one. We all manifest different characteristics of the Father and his love ❤️.

  5. amen

    • No more depression or worry! Yes!

  6. Psalm 19:14…one of my favorite verses. ❤

  7. Amen, thank you! I’m looking up today!
