I hate seeing believers sell their birthright, inheritance, and sonship blessings for a pot of deception stew, for convenience in lieu of endurance, and for reneging on God’s promises due to lack of faith. Because they don’t value nor appreciate the things of God, there is absolutely no regard for what Yahweh says or thinks.
This is profanity. In the Bible, profanity means a lack of holiness. If you take something holy and good, and treat it with contempt, then you have profaned it. To treat the things of God, as ordinary is to profane or despise them. It shows a lack of godliness, which the New Testament says about Esau. He was immoral, and lacked concern for pleasing God. His spiritual blessings and responsibilities meant nothing to him. The Lord tells us to be sure we are not like Esau in this. There was no immoral or godless person like Esau, who sold his own birthright, for a single meal. (Hebrews 12:16).
Through Jesus Christ, we are all Yahweh’s Firstborn. Worship is not failing to appreciate God, who he is in all of his Glory, our birthright inheritance, and valuing our sonship benefits. Obey and Believe God, don’t let the enemy deceive or trick you into selling, what Jesus paid for to make available for “You.”

Thank you for this. It is very saddening to see us, children of God , trading our undeserved blessings of unquantifiable value for things that are temporary and inferior by far.
