Don’t get lost in the process of change. Sometimes results are immediate, sometimes gradual, but both are a part of the process of change.
Ultimately, during the process, the Father desires us to keep crying out for Him. Our dependency should be of Him and not ourselves. We must cry out to our Father, who loves and yearns for us to be with Him. Even when we don’t understand what God is doing, we still owe Him our hearts in worship.

This is one thing I’m struggling with. As a result of all the trauma and drama I’ve been through, I became independent and headstrong. I don’t like crying out to anybody for anything. And ever since I became a Christian in 2014, God has put me on that pottery wheel to break me down and remold me.

God is our help and strength. When we can’t do it on our own, we give a cry of desperation to the only one who can help. He is there when surrender.
