Indeed, faith is critical, when my heart stopped the first time I had all types of eye opening spiritual experiences; but 13 years later with an infection to my heart’s defibrillator the Lord was silent! He did send me the man who invented laser surgery to the heart however, and despite the fear the Lord was faithful in my survival!
