Lord, my heart is meek before you.
I don’t consider myself better than others.
I’m content to not pursue matters
That are over my head
Such as your complex mysteries and wonders-
That I’m not yet ready to understand.
I am humbled and quieted in your presence.

This poem reminded me of Deuteronomy 29:29, “The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.” To rest and trust in God is our part.
