Set watch over and guard your heart (your thought patterns, will and emotions) above all else, for it determines the course of your life. (Proverbs 4:23)
The decisions you make flow out of what you believe, think and speak. What you decree with your mouth, either positive or negative, determines your actions that will fulfill your destiny and multiply. When you consult God, listen, obey and meditate on his word, it will change your future and affect those that God brings into your life. Carefully, guard what you allow into your heart and what you meditate on because it will either produce life or death.

Yes, it can be complicated but I’m asking God to examine my heart. Then I want to listen and deal with what is brought to me to deal with. Most the time it involves my forgiving someone including myself. Then I ask him to heal my heart. Jesus heals the broken hearted.

When I consciously commit my thoughts, attitudes and actions to Him, the result always glorifies Him and gives me peace. When I neglect to do so, I grieve Him and bring turmoil to myself.
May we always be faithful to allow Him full control.
