Wow, I love this. When I had my two children, I opted for a “natural” birth (isn’t all birthing, natural, no matter what, though?). There was a point near the end, when I truly did not think I could take another second. It was the most excruciating part. Then, just when I was ready to give up and go limp, the babies came!!! The joy that rushed in made me forget the horror of that physical pain. What I have been walking through, emotionally, reminds me SO MUCH of being in labor and pushing.
