Soar Like An Eagle

by Hazel Straub

Exhausted, weak and tired? Yahweh energizes the tired and weary, giving them fresh strength. Those who depend on him, soar like eagles above their troubles, catching Holy Spirit wind. Those who wait with anticipation on Yahweh, receive renewed life.

Isaiah 40:28-31 (NOG)
Don’t you know?
Haven’t you heard?
God Everlasting, Yahweh, the Creator of the ends of the earth,
doesn’t grow tired or become weary.
His understanding is beyond reach. He gives strength to those who grow tired
and increases the strength of those who are weak.
Even young people grow tired and become weary,
and young men will stumble and fall.
Yet, the strength of those who wait with hope in Yahweh
will be renewed.
They will soar on wings like eagles.
They will run and won’t become weary.
They will walk and won’t grow tired.

Great reminder. I like the way this one asks, “Exhausted, weak and tired?” Then goes on to say, “Catching Holy Spirit wind.” Isn’t that what we need when we feel that way? Holy Spirit wind!

Amen, I recently experienced Gods rejuvenation by placing my entire focus upon Him and relearning to establish my foot hold upon His foundation while mine was crumbling away. God is so Good to us I grew up thinking God hated me or thought lesser of me but recently I have experienced miracles I cannot even begin to explain with mere words. All I can say is those alone times with God as well the few Miracles I, my wife, and few others, witness displayed just how much God loves even when its fixing a jam I recently Got my wife into. If it wasn’t for God we would still be in that jam and He graciously forgave our debt of transgressions and provided a way out while gently spanking me for my devious actions that got us there in the first place.

Thank you Pure Glory for sharing this insightful post I really enjoyed the reminder of Gods rejuvenation upon us. 🙂

    God Bless,
    Sincerely Reign,

Yes, it is amazing how God reaches out to us in love, correction and draws us to himself. He wants us to get our focus off ourselves and onto him. Miracles of renewal, provision, and redemption. Its awesome how when we wait for him, we soar on eagle’s wings.

This is the Scripture I chose to read this morning during worship. 🙂

I need to hear this a few times today…didn’t get to sleep until after 2 a.m.!

As you waited before him, I’m sure you were soaring above all the things that otherwise would keep you grounded. Soar!

I am thinking of the song “He Lifts Me Up”
We have NO excuse to be ‘down’ because we have His presence and His promises and He can never fail.

Yes, his presence and promises are with us. We need to have our focus on the Lord.
