Love, Mercy, Compassion And Grace

by Hazel Straub

The unchanging love of God is not based on merit or performance. There is no greater love than to lay down your life for your friends. Love covers a multitude of sin. It produces mercy, compassion and grace, which freely flow from the throne of God, to us. As we receive, we are called to give the same to others, without charge, worthiness or measure.

Lord, help me love like you!

John 15:12-15 (CJB)
โ€œThis is my command: that you keep on loving each other just as I have loved you. No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends. You are my friends, if you do what I command you. I no longer call you slaves, because a slave doesnโ€™t know what his master is about; but I have called you friends, because everything I have heard from my Father I have made known to you.”

Oh how I pray we could have gods heart in our chest. If we did we wouldn’t have let this world beat us down and go to the far corners of the earth. Good article

May we be faithful to allow the resident Lord to shine forth from us, radiating His love, mercy and grace to all we meet.
