Holy Spirit-Winds Of Change

by Hazel Straub

The playful wind kept catching the open door and slamming it closed. Although much of the time, there is little wind in Fairbanks, the breeze has been noticeable. Holy Spirit began to speak to me about the wind. He said the wind is bringing change and he is the Wind Changemaker. Some doors shut and will not open. While other doors previously shut, now stand open.  Now is the time to walk through the open doors. Walk away and leave the closed doors behind you, without regret.

The wind exposes heart motives related to why we do, what we do. Are the motives pure or do they have ulterior motives with hooks in them? The wind is bringing people together and separating others. Winds of change swirl around us. On what do you spend your time thinking and meditating? Do you direct your praise and worship to Yeshua the Anointed One constantly or do you think on the cares of this world, pornography, sports, entertainment, gossip or anything else that robs you of close intimacy with him?

Wind separates the chaff from the grain and will blow away whatever is unproductive in God’s kingdom. Ungodly behavior patterns that were under grace in the last season, now have God’s wind and light exposing them, for it is urgent to change. Those things tolerated in the last season, will get you sidelined, unless you allow the wind, to change you and your heart. Embrace the wind and change!
