Pure Worship In 2013

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

WORSHIP in the purest sense of the word is how I will do, what I will do, in 2013. Only the pure in heart shall see the manifestation of God. Worship in power, in the unction of the Holy Spirit, the reality of life and the present truth. Worship is how we treat each other, when we don’t agree. Worship is only a verb when your heart is in it. Worship is “Giving” God what he desires, not what we conveniently want to give.

Worship is giving the Father your heart. Rendering your heart, not your garments, routines, and traditions that make the word of God of none effect. Yahweh is calling us to repentance, firstly, how we treat Him, secondly, how we treat each other, yet claiming to be the TRUE worshippers of God. Worship the Father abandoning your idols, your traditions, the comforts of your four-walls, your religious rhetoric, and doing warfare on the city, until you repent and do warfare personally, FIRST.

Worship isn’t only the lifting of the hands, the singing of a song, or any physical movement of the body but the HEART. Worship is what your heart is saying towards God and what his heart is saying towards you. God is calling us to REPENTANCE AND REMEMBRANCE OF WHAT HE HAS ALREADY DONE! Our worship stinks because we give God what we want and not what he desires or requires of us.

We are cursed…. We must rid ourselves of the accursed thing. It’s not time to make New Year’s resolutions, it’s time to REPENT AND RENEW our covenant with God our Father. It’s time to seek the wisdom of God, his counsel, and his grace to become resolute against the plans and tactics of the enemy. It’s time to forgive and be reconciled. We must retire from being so friendly and passive with the enemy.

Jeremiah 17:4-6 (KJV)
“And thou, even thyself, shalt discontinue from thine heritage that I gave thee; and I will cause thee to serve thine enemies in the land which thou knowest not: for ye have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
Thus saith the Lord; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the Lord.
For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.”

We are cursed when we are not seeking God’s wisdom or wise godly counsel, trying to do it on our own. This is the meaning of “ARMS OF THE FLESH,” you’re doing it, trying to make it happen, in lieu of the Father. Seeking everyone else but God and those who aren’t even spending time with God. Worship is being inner-dependent not independent. The highest form of worship is not how well you can play or sing, not the decimals of your voice, nor how much you study the Bible, or consider yourself spiritual because of your study, nor your skill or ability, but the highest form of worship is OBEDIENCE. Resisting God-is rebellion, not doing what God requires is witchcraft and strange fire, which are offerings Christ will not accept. No more “Cain offerings” in 2013, only “Abel offerings.”

We repent for Ignoring God, using him as a last resort, an alternative, refusing to deal with some things, not relying or fully trusting in him.

Jeremiah 48:9-11 (KJV)
“Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.
Cursed be he that doeth the work of the Lord deceitfully, and cursed be he that keepeth back his sword from blood.
Moab hath been at ease from his youth, and he hath settled on his lees, and hath not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither hath he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.”

We are also cursed, when we refuse to war against the enemy, when we refuse to fight the good fight of faith, when we fail to bind and cast out the devil, when we refuse to open our mouths (in fear of rejection) and be the salt of the earth. But rather remain popular in the eyes of mere mortals and be silent, spineless, and saltless in the eyes of God. I know everyone probably won’t hit like on this word but God said it, whether it ‘s liked or not. My desire and daily goal is to please him and  not them. Worship is pleasing the Father regardless to what people say about you behind closed doors but never in your face.

Do like the Holy Spirit prompted me today. Go speak to the one who doesn’t want to speak to you. Go love on the one who doesn’t love you. Go bless the one who tried to curse you. Go thank the ones who betrayed you. Lastly, go forgive the one that hurt you because Christ has forgiven you…This is PURE WORSHIP. (When you don’t act indifferent but can love like you have never been hurt). God is calling us to TRUE REPENTANCE, WHICH IS TRUE WORSHIP…I love you all in the purest sense of the word that’s why I post the TRUTH to please God, not what’s popular to please the flesh. Ultimately, that you will experience the supernatural power of Yahweh’s love, freedom, mercy, and grace.

    Apostle Gabriel,
You have covered a lot of salient points here. What I will take from this blog, always to remember is that pure worship of God is repentence and giving to God what He has asked of us, in obedience to Him. This post is great to begin 2013 with. Thanks, Gabriel.

He ALONE is worthy of our worship and our worship must involve every fibre of our being and our every action, for we depend entirely on Him.

Yes, he wants our undivided attention with obedient hearts. Without him we would not make it through the day.
