God commands us to love our neighbors, relatives and all the human race, for we all brothers. Demonstrate compassion, mercy and loving kindness towards those who have wronged you and hate you. Love is a matter of the heart with no scheming, retaliation, hatred or hidden agendas. When we die to our rights and show compassionate love, the light casts out the darkness of evil.
Lord, give me a pure heart that loves in spite of how others treat me.
Zechariah 7:9-10 (Amplified)
“Thus has the Lord of hosts spoken: Execute true judgment and show mercy and kindness and tender compassion, every man to his brother; And oppress not the widow or the fatherless, the temporary resident or the poor, and let none of you devise or imagine or think evil against his brother in your heart.”
