Is Your Mind Working Overtime?

by Apostle Gabriel Cross

Is your mind working overtime about something, only the Lord can work out? Change your thinking. The enemy is always trying to bombard us with negative and ungodly thoughts. Usually, wherever the mind goes, the rest of the body will follow. What you think about, you bring about. Thoughts can turn into dreams, dreams can turn into realities.

The reason Job had to endure the great hardship and turmoil, in his life, occurred because the thing he greatly feared, came upon him. “What I feared has come upon me; what I dreaded has happened to me. I have no peace, no quietness; I have no rest, but only turmoil.” (Job 3:25, 26 KJV) Fear will connect you to whatever you are fearing. These were thoughts of fear.

“And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, …And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.” (Mark 5:25, 26, 28-30, 34 KJV)

Faith will connect you to whatever you are believing. These were thoughts of faith. Whatever that thing is in the back of your mind, that you are scared to imagine or fulfill, think it; imagine it, envision yourself fulfilling it. Rome wasn’t built in a day but it all started with a thought. You and I were created and predestined to worship Yahweh and conquer in his name. But it all started with Yahweh’s thoughts. Therefore, think great thoughts because we worship the great God of all gods.

Super Good!!! Speaks to a situation I’m dealing with right now, and I’m determined to think God’s thoughts ONLY and win. Well, I’ve already won — but I’m moving toward the full manifestation of that victory. Thank you.

I think among the saddest words in the Bible are “They limited the Holy One of Israel” [Psalm 78:41]. I am reminded that my thoughts – my lack of faith – can limit God. What an incongruous thought!

Yes, our thoughts are powerful. As a man thinks in his heart so is he. Lack of faith does limit God!

This was just what I needed this morning. I have this fear that I’m not effective enough in my work for the Lord. This fear sometimes is good I think for humility reasons, but then again, too much of it can keep me from pushing forward with faith.

Glad that this post ministered to you. Fear of failure, causes one to be stopped from what God calls them to and will enable them to accomplish. Jesus has defeated the enemy. We have to believe and not let the enemy intimidate us.
